I am officially giving my public endorsment for Gen. Clark for president, because I am sure everyone was waiting with baited breath. Take a look folks, this is a man who is going places, and can take us all along with him.

You have made...a wise decision.
Welcome to the bandwagon my brother.
Wayne... You cannot, ethically, post a comment supporting your own post... can you?
But anyway.. here is a comment I will post which is a concern I have about Clark, but no answer really. His whole tax cut idea sounds great in the sense that who doesn't want to get some money back. What worries me is we have seen what Bush's repeated tax cuts have done to the economy (and admittedly it is not just the tax cuts that have screwed the economy), and I know Clark mentions increasing taxes for the richest Americans.. which I am all for. But this seems to be a very conservative answer to the problem. So now we are cutting taxes but we are doing it for the middle class too. Is Clark a hands off government kind of guy? It is this type of thinking in conjunction with his forays into Republican poitics that worries me a bit, that perhaps there is a conservative lurking in him some place, but he packages it in a popular face.
The reason the idea of tax cuts worries me is because, for example, I feel health care needs to be socialized and that means taxes. I don't have a problem with the idea of taxes. It is when corporations are subsidized with tax money to deplete the environment and the economy while I can't even afford to go to the dentist that taxes are a problem for me. But then this really gets to the root of my "meta- problem" in this election, I am pretty much a socialist voting in a corporate and capitalistic ?emocracy, and there is nothing any of the candidates can do to change the economic ideology that supports this nation's (world's)economy. SO.. in the end I will vote for any one who can dethrone our nation's governor.
